Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in school-based settings is needed for a contract position from August 1, 2026, to May 29, 2027. This opportunity is onsite in Columbia, SC, offering a 35-hour workweek supporting students within a school environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working as an SLP in educational settings, particularly schools
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills with school-age populations
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school protocols
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students' communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and families
