Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in schools
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Recent experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and families
  • Familiarity with IEP development and delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Provide direct intervention individually or in groups, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic skills
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining up-to-date records and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, staff trainings, and team consultations
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers regarding classroom modifications and strategies
