Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in schools
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Recent experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary staff and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals
- Provide direct intervention individually or in groups, addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic skills
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining up-to-date records and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, staff trainings, and team consultations
- Offer guidance and support to teachers regarding classroom modifications and strategies
