Job Description

As a dedicated SLP, you will play a vital role in fostering students academic and social success through individualized and group therapy sessions.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice as an SLP in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations and school-aged children
  • Knowledge of IEP process, goal writing, and documentation practices
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all therapy sessions and student progress
  • Employ creative, motivating interventions tailored to each students needs
  • Consult with educational staff to support classroom strategies for language development and communication
