Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a school-based setting near Elgin, IL. This onsite position runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027 and offers a meaningful chance to make an impact across a diverse school community. With a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, youll play a vital role in empowering students to reach their full potential through tailored speech and language services.

Your skills as an SLP with CCC credentials or school-based experience will be highly valued. The caseload details are still being finalized, and placements will reflect your expertise and interests. First-year clinicians (CF-SLPs) are encouraged to apply, and SLP Assistants may be considered with proper documentation and experience.

To excel in this role, candidates should have:

• Valid ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SL Endorsement
• Active Illinois State License (IDFPR)
• Experience or interest in serving bilingual student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• A commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive student learning environments
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and dedication to contract duration

Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy to students as required
• Conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and documenting progress
• Collaborating with educational staff and families
• Providing culturally responsive and evidence-based interventions
• Participating in meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams.
