Step into a fulfilling role supporting students communication and language development in a collaborative school setting near Elgin, IL. This contract opportunity offers three openings for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year, serving grades K-12 across elementary, middle, and high schools. Youll provide critical services that empower students to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement required
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and fully credentialed SLPs
- Experience within school settings highly valued, particularly across K-12
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities include:
- Administering assessments and conducting evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to ongoing academic planning
- Delivering direct therapy and consultative services as needed throughout the school week
