This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide speech and language services to K-12 students in a school setting located in Elgin, IL. The role is ideal for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist looking to apply their skills in pediatrics, healthcare, and school environments, with a pathway to contract-to-hire employment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC)
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience working with school-age children (K-12)
- Strong pediatric and healthcare-related SLP skills
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
- Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to each student's educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support students' communication needs
- Maintain accurate records and document progress in compliance with state and district guidelines
