Job Description

This position offers the opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in grades K-5 at an elementary school setting in Elgin, IL. The role is a contract position for the 2025-2026 school year, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The professional will work closely with middle and high school students as needed, focusing on assessment, intervention, and support for speech and language development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individualized speech-language therapy to students
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
  • Administering evaluations and developing treatment plans
  • Documenting student performance and maintaining compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathology Endorsement
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy, including work with elementary-aged children
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
