Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current license or eligibility for speech-language pathology in Texas
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress reports, and assessment procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to monitor progress and adapt interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide consultation as needed
  • Provide support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies
  • Engage students in targeted activities that promote positive communication outcomes
