Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or CFY considered)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting, preferably within schools
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and data-driven progress monitoring
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and encourage students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine eligibility and areas for intervention
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Offer guidance and resources to families regarding student progress and strategies for support at home
