A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based contract position in El Paso, TX. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in speech and language therapy within an educational setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in meetings and providing input for individualized education plans (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for Texas
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to utilize data to inform treatment decisions and track progress
