Make an impact supporting students across picturesque El Dorado County as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist! This large district serves diverse communities from El Dorado Hills to Camino, with multiple roles available for the 2026-2027 school year. Professionals comfortable with travel and flexible assignments will thrive here, as specific school placements are confirmed in late spring and may change during the semester.
Youll enjoy the unique opportunity to provide services onsite at various campuseshelping students with mild to moderate, and occasionally severe, speech and language needs. Both seasoned SLPs and Clinical Fellows (with on-site supervision) are encouraged to apply. The ability to adapt, collaborate, and travel between sites will ensure your success.
What We're Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CA SLP license; CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows/Speech-Language Pathology Assistants considered with supervision)
- Comfortable working itinerantly across multiple school locations
- Prior experience in school settings and SEIS system preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing assignments
- Open to professionals with varying experience levels, including travelers
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students with a range of needs across campus sites
- Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators
- Supervise or mentor SLPAs and CFs as appropriate
- Travel between school locations within the district as required
