Job Description

Step into a contract position working in a dynamic school-based environment supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Your expertise will make a real difference, fostering communication skills that empower children to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification (or eligibility for one) in California
  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Enthusiastic about evaluating and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, individually or in groups
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Contribute to IEP meetings by sharing your expertise and advocating for appropriate services
  • Track progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate findings with stakeholders
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every students progress is celebrated

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $95.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
