Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role covering a maternity leave from October through mid-December. This full-time position is based onsite across three locations, giving you the chance to collaborate with diverse teams and impact student success directly.
In this role, you'll utilize your skills in pediatric speech-language pathology to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment programs, all while working within a supportive educational environment. Whether you're experienced or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, your passion for helping young learners reach their potential is what matters most.
Key Qualifications:
- Current California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
- Experience in school settings and/or working with pediatric populations
- Ability to travel to three different school sites as needed
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapeutic services and consult with teachers, families, and staff
- Document progress and maintain student records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and support classroom integration
