Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a K12 school setting. The SLP will support students with speech, language, and communication needs that impact academic performance and social participation. This role involves collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their communication and educational goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and special education teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Use evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Promote student engagement, participation, and positive communication skills
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
