Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
- Familiarity with school-based SLP services, including IEP development and progress reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
- Skilled in collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Complete assessments, present evaluation findings, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate records compliant with district, state, and federal regulations
- Partner with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families to empower student success
