Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support in a school setting. Location: Travel position based in Edison, NJ, serving multiple schools in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Implement therapy sessions tailored to students specific needs to improve their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights on student development and therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between schools within the designated region.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
