Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an educational environment supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. In this contract role, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver impactful speech and language services, helping students succeed academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid Minnesota SLP license is required.
- School-based experience is preferred for seamless integration into the district environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across various age groups.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop treatment plans addressing each students unique speech and language needs.
- Provide direct intervention to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor progress and adjust goals as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluations, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Offer consultative support to classroom teachers for implementing effective communication strategies in the classroom.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in speech-language pathology within educational settings.
