Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota SLP license
  • Previous professional experience in a school setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff members

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide training and resources to school staff to assist with speech-language interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
