Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license
- Previous professional experience in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff members
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide training and resources to school staff to assist with speech-language interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
