A rewarding contract position is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to serve elementary school students in Eden Prairie, MN. These role offer opportunities to support children with general speech and language needs as well as those with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum disorders in a supportive school environment. The positions provide a 37.5-hour workweek and are based onsite.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech-language services focused on articulation and language development for a caseload of approximately 50 students per clinician
- Working with center-based programs serving students with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Collaborating with school staff and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) using the SpedForms system
- Participating in assessment, progress monitoring, and documentation according to state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings, ideally including teletherapy and speech therapy in healthcare or educational environments
- Proficiency with IEP development, special education regulations, and diverse student needs including autism spectrum disorders
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
Position 1 is available immediately through April 8, 2026. Position 2 is from February 1 to May 1, with potential for coverage until the end of the school year at one or both locations.
