This full-time contract position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who thrives working with K-12 students and enjoys direct, in-person interaction.
Enjoy a consistent schedule supporting students academic and communication growth throughout the entire 2026-2027 school year, from August through late June. Work closely with educational staff and families to deliver high-quality speech services in an engaging, collaborative setting.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (required)
- Experience providing services in school settings preferred, K-12 caseload especially valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Must be able to work onsite; virtual services are not available for this placement
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, swallowing, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students K-12
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress tracking, and communication with families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
