We're looking for a dedicated, contract Speech-Language Pathologist to provide expert support to K-12 learners for the upcoming academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license issued by the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Recent experience in a school setting or with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to provide onsite services; virtual/remote work is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grades
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set measurable goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Medicaid billing requirements, as applicable
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Engage in professional development to ensure high-quality therapy delivery
You will work the full 2026-2027 academic year, beginning in August and concluding in late June. The role is full-time, offering the chance to make consistent, positive impacts throughout the school year.
