Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a meaningful impact with K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. Work onsite in a vibrant educational environment, collaborating with students, educators, and families to foster communication skills and support academic success. This full-time, contract position runs from August 2026 through June 25, 2027, providing continuity and strong relationships within the school community.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload and support students with a range of communication needs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery; this opportunity is not available for virtual/remote work

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to create supportive learning environments and facilitate strategies for student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the problem-solving process for student needs
