Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs will be considered
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a diverse caseload of children

What Youll Do:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collect and document student progress toward therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and social success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
  • Offer guidance and training to staff and caregivers as needed
