Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Clinical experience with pediatrics, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Organized, adaptable, and passionate about working with children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop goals and interventions
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert guidance for student support plans
  • Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings, adapting to diverse student needs
  • Provide resources and education to families and staff to promote student growth
