Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Current licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in the state
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Ability to work efficiently with students ranging from early childhood through adolescence
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement direct therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, goals, and outcomes
- Offer consultative support to educators regarding communication-friendly classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support compliance with federal, state, and district regulations related to student services
