This full-time, contract position is focused on providing essential support to early childhood students, helping them overcome communication challenges and reach their fullest potential. Flexible arrangements are available, including full-time or part-time schedules, all in an on-site school setting.
In this position, you will have the chance to provide services throughout the Bethlehem, Easton, Stroudsburg, Pike County, Monroe County, and Hampton County areas, collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care tailored to students unique needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with early childhood or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Understanding of the school setting and IEP process
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for early childhood students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow school professionals
- Maintain consistent, accurate documentation of progress and services
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support holistic student growth
- Offer training or guidance to school staff and families as needed
