Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory
- Experience working with students in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to ever-changing school needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across a diverse age range, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor students progress toward IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive atmosphere for student growth
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on students communication needs and progress
