Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is mandatory
  • Experience working with students in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to ever-changing school needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across a diverse age range, tailoring interventions to individual needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor students progress toward IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive atmosphere for student growth
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide input on students communication needs and progress
