Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey SLP license required
• Experience working in schools strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing duties across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to develop lesson plans and tailored interventions
• Skilled in conducting assessments, writing reports, and maintaining documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs within an educational environment
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each students success
• Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes effectively
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to school teams on communication needs
• Educate staff and students about effective communication strategies
