This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking hands-on experience working with young learners in an elementary caseload. The position runs from July 6th through August 14th, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 8:15 am to 2:15 pm, totaling 27.5 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid NY SLP license required
- Open to Speech Language Pathologists with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to support students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to organize therapy sessions and documentation efficiently within school hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide targeted speech and language therapy for an elementary caseload
- Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students needs
