Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Wisconsin SLP license
- DPI Certification required
- Skilled in pediatric speech therapy, including SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY
- Experience in educational/healthcare settings focused on school-based speech services
- Proficient in providing services in person; teletherapy experience is a bonus
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaboration with school teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students during 7-hour workdays (including a half-hour unpaid lunch)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to foster student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
