Elementary positions generally support smaller caseloads, while high school caseloads include a portion of students needing only consultative services.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Alaska SLP license
• Alaska DEED (teaching) certification
• Experience working with students in K-12 educational settings
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently onsite
• Passion for supporting students across diverse backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as determined by IEPs
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
• Administer assessments, collect data, and monitor student progress
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with school protocols and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports or accommodations
• Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere
