Job Description

Make a lasting impact supporting diverse learners as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist serving Spanish-speaking students across multiple educational settings near Durham, NC. This contract opportunity offers a part-time schedule of approximately 27 hours per week (3.5 days), with flexibility for those seeking full-time placement. The position spans the current and upcoming school years, running through June 2027, and welcomes both local and travel candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bilingual (Spanish/English) speech-language evaluations, diagnostics, and therapy for students across several school campuses.
  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students cultural and linguistic background.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with educators, administrators, and families.
  • Attend virtual meetings and utilize allocated administrative time for essential planning and documentation.
  • Travel between assigned school locations during the day, with driving time fully compensated.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Active state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain before starting.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations; teletherapy experience a plus.
  • Background clearance including fingerprinting.
