This full-time contract opportunity is seeking a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist ready to serve a diverse K-12 caseload, supporting students with a variety of needs. Your background in pediatric speech therapy, whether you are an SLP-CCC or an SLP-CFY, is highly valued here. The district is committed to ensuring you have the resources and backing necessary to excelboth on-site and when delivering teletherapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Maryland
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates considered
  • Experience working in school-based settings, especially with pediatric populations
  • Comfortable managing a mixed K-12 caseload
  • Skilled in teletherapy and/or traditional in-person therapy models

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute expert input for student success
  • Provide direct and consultative services as appropriate
