Assignments span elementary, middle, and high school settings, with details on school placements to be determined. Embrace a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, running from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, supporting children and teens by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication challenges.

What Youll Bring:

  • Active Virginia SLP licensure required.
  • Prior school-based SLP experience preferred.
  • Readiness to complete a VA Dept. of Social Services background check promptly and obtain a recent TB test.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a 185-day contract and varied caseloads.
  • Compassion, adaptability, and a passion for empowering students of all abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
