A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Dumfries, VA. This onsite contract position is ideal for an experienced SLP who holds a valid Virginia license and is passionate about supporting young learners' communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support students speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote effective communication strategies
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Support the school community during a maternity leave contract period
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Virginia licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings supporting childrens speech and language skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families
