Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure for speech-language pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but not required
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate with diverse student populations
- Competency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy plans
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions aligned with student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports according to school and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions to enhance students academic and social success
