Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work with elementary, middle, and high school students, utilizing your expertise to deliver high-quality speech and language services.

Ideal candidates have experience in school-based settings and are comfortable collaborating across grade levels, adjusting interventions to meet diverse student needs. This is a dynamic opportunity to work with students of varying ages, helping them achieve their communication goals while working within an engaging educational team.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in schools, especially at the elementary, middle, or high school level, preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and effective collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and caseload efficiently in a fast-paced school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address identified needs and facilitate academic participation
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEPs
  • Maintain organized documentation of all assessments, therapy sessions, and progress notes
  • Provide guidance and educational resources to teachers, families, and other staff members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Adapt flexibility as you support students across multiple grade levels and learning environments
