An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students for the upcoming 20262027 school year. This onsite position is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with preschool and high school students and who is comfortable providing services across multiple educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Louisiana SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable working with a varied caseload including preschool and high school students
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed during the workweek
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to preschool students (specific location to be determined) and high school students at a secondary campus
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for each student served
- Participate in required meetings, assessments, and professional development activities
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: August 3, 2026 May 21, 2027 (dates subject to change)
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- Onsite service delivery with travel between student sites
- Single position available
