Ideal candidates will bring experience or interest in the following areas:
- School-based SLP services and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Pediatric speech and language assessment and therapy
- Teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Supervision and mentorship (CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year; open to both)
- Collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Healthcare standards for documentation and compliance
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Effectively managing caseloads through in-person or teletherapy modalities
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records in accordance with school and healthcare regulations
- Providing consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff to maximize student success
- Contributing insights at team meetings and IEP conferences to ensure holistic support for every learner
