Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a contract position in a dynamic K-12 school environment. This role will provide services across an entire district, supporting students communication and language development from kindergarten through high school graduation. The assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. All services are delivered onsite; virtual options are not available at this time.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification and valid PA Teaching Certification (must be submitted with your resume)
  • Experience providing speech and language therapy in school-based or pediatric settings
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and documentation
  • Ability to serve a diverse K-12 student population across multiple sites within the district
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students, tailored to K-12 educational settings
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, related service providers, and parents to support students academic and social success
  • Document sessions, progress, and outcomes according to district and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-wide support initiatives throughout the district
