This onsite contract opportunity provides you the chance to work within a collaborative educational environment, delivering services to students who need your expertise the most. The role spans a full school year, ensuring continuity of care and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (submit credentials with your resume)
- Current Pennsylvania teaching certification
- Experience in a K-12 educational setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing services across all grade levels
- Ability to work onsite (no virtual/hybrid option)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students throughout the building
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, counselors, and support staff
- Utilize diagnostic tools to evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Counsel and educate students, families, and staff to foster a supportive learning environment
