Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services across K-12 settings for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting students of varied backgrounds and abilities in an onsite capacity (virtual options are not available at this time).

Youll work district-wide in a vibrant educational environment, serving both elementary and secondary schools. Caseloads include both regular and specialized education populations, offering a broad scope of experience. This assignment runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, for 35 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP License
  • Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 student populations, including both regular education and specialized support (autism, life skills, learning support)
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 elementary students, including some case management
  • Support secondary (middle and high school) students, with a caseload of around 60, including service delivery for students with diverse needs and minimal case management
  • Conduct assessments, develop and maintain IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress
