Job Description
Make a significant impact supporting students communication needs as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working onsite across a district serving diverse K-12 populations. This contract position spans from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering you the opportunity to build lasting relationships and collaborate with educators across multiple locations near Dover, PA.
Youll work a consistent, full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, embedded within school environments to help students develop speech, language, and communication skills vital for their academic and social growth.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP certification required
- Current Pennsylvania teaching certificate
- Prior experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders
- Ability to work independently across multiple school sites
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative services to students district-wide
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and support staff
- Maintain accurate, timely records for IEPs and progress reports
- Participate in eligibility, staffing, and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
