A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students communication development in a dynamic educational setting. This role involves working within local schools, providing essential therapy services to children with speech and language challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Travel between multiple school locations within the designated area as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school environments with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and school staff
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and handle travel logistics efficiently
