Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Delaware license as an SLP CCC
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedication to supporting speech and language development for students of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to adapt to various caseloads and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop individualized treatment plans guided by educational goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings
  • Consult with educators, families, and professionals to promote student success
  • Document progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings
  • Adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of each student and ensure compliance with educational standards
