Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a vibrant elementary and middle school environment for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contracted position provides a focus on meaningful impact, working directly on-site to foster students' communication and academic success.

Qualified candidates will serve one school site, collaborating closely with staff, families, and students to address a variety of speech and language needs. The caseload may encompass both elementary and middle school populations, with final details determined as positions are finalized.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active Georgia PSC certification (required)
  • Valid professional license and state licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience delivering SLP services to school-aged children preferred
  • SLPAs are not considered for this position
  • Successful completion of required fingerprinting and drug screening
  • Readiness for a potential prescreen interview within designated daytime windows

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct assessments, and maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Communicate regularly with school staff and families regarding student progress
  • Actively participate in student support meetings and offer expert guidance in speech-language development
