Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. Work onsite, providing services to a manageable caseload of 15-20 students each week. With a part-time schedule of 15-20 hours per week, this contract-to-hire position offers a balanced workload and the chance to truly make an impact in the educational community.
Qualifications:
- Valid Idaho SLP License is required
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working in schools or with school-aged children is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong commitment to student success and communication goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students on your caseload, adjusting interventions to individual needs and IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough records of student progress
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations for service planning
- Keep open communication with caregivers and educational staff to guide students progress and answer questions
