Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting communication and language development for students in a welcoming academic setting. This is an onsite opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) interested in making meaningful contributions throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Louisiana SLP license and Louisiana Teaching Certificate are required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA.
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings, providing assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively with students, educators, and caregivers.
- Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practices in speech-language therapy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students based on their IEP goals.
- Administer formal and informal assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
- Consult with teachers and staff to support students communication needs across learning environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.
- Contribute to a collaborative and student-centered team focused on educational success.
Position Details:
- Full academic year contract: August 6, 2026 May 25, 2027.
- Onsite only (no virtual or hybrid options).
- One position available; 37.5 hours per week during school hours.
