Job Description

Looking for your next school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity in Detroit, MI? Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a full-time SLP to support students and serving grades K-8.

This position offers a consistent schedule with an ASAP start and a contract running through the end of the school year.

Your Role

As the SLP, you'll play an important role in helping students build communication skills that support their success in the classroom and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing speech-language evaluations and diagnostic services
  • Delivering individualized therapeutic services
  • Consulting with teachers and other educational professionals
  • Collaborating with families and school administrators
  • Supporting students with identified communication disorders
  • Contributing to students' academic, social, and emotional success
  • Coordinating with other members of the student support team
  • Following IDEA, Section 504, and state and federal requirements

Contract: Through the end of the school year

What You Need

  • Current Michigan SLP license
  • Pediatric or school-based experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and support staff
