Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Michigan-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school position in Detroit, MI. The SLP will support students and provide comprehensive speech and language services throughout the school year.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP interested in working with K-8 students in a collaborative educational environment. Pediatric or school-based experience is preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

As the school Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Provide diagnostic speech and language services
  • Deliver therapeutic intervention to students with communication disorders
  • Provide consultation and support to educational teams
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support personnel
  • Help address students' communication needs as they relate to academic and social success
  • Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate services
  • Maintain required student records and documentation
  • Follow IDEA, Section 504, and applicable state and federal requirements

Requirements

  • Michigan SLP license
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Newer school-based SLPs may be considered based on qualifications
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
