Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
  • CCC-SLP or strong CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students (K-5) in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and experience with assessment, treatment planning, and implementation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in-person with young children and school personnel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to elementary students as specified in their IEPs
  • Screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student abilities
  • Engage families and teachers by sharing strategies and progress updates
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records of sessions and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaborations, and professional development
