Desired Qualifications:

  • Active speech-language pathology license issued by the state of Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-CCC) required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with students from early childhood through high school
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students
  • Adaptability in varying caseloads and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
  • Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services
  • Maintain thorough records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Provide training and resources for staff and families as needed
