Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working with children across multiple grade levels preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptable mindset and a collaborative work style

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide direct therapy to support students communicative needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), tailoring goals to meet students academic and developmental stages
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Offer guidance to teachers and parents on integrating speech and language strategies within the classroom and at home
